What are the luggage limits?

On most airlines you can check up to two standard bags weighing up to 50 pounds (23 kg) each, with a combined linear size (length + width + height) not exceeding 62 inches (158 cm). The first checked bag costs around $35 and the second about $45 USD.
For carry-on bags, their dimensions may not exceed 22 inches by 14 inches by 9 inches (56 cm x 35 cm x 23 cm) respectively. Note that these measurements include any handles or wheels, but do not apply to small musical instruments that fit in the overhead or under-seat space.
